720 is Super Series designation. 570 is Sports Series. It's now replaced by Arturo. Current entry level is probably the GT. 12C you can't count- it was their first commercial effort and has a cult like following by some. 570 garbage.
I thought all the LT versions were considered McLarens’s big boy toys which would equate to your Pista or SF90 cars. I thought the S versions were just a more milder car. Like the 720s is a 488 and a 765LT is a 488 Pista? Are you saying if I had a 720s, it would be more mind blowing than the 570s? My 570s was extremely fast. Probably one of the fastest cars I have owned that came in stock form.
I never really understand these threads as at the end of the day you need to drive the cars. If you're enamored by the Ferrari brand not much else will persuade you away from it. All of these cars are really good. A 570s will not keep up with a Pista - nor should it. A 570s will keep up with a 488GTB. A 600LT is more competitive to the Pista, but still not as fast. McLaren makes damn good cars. And cars that excite non-car people as much as a Ferrari. They're a bit different. The 360 is the first of the new - which means it still has characteristics of the old platform. A 355 and 360 are similar in how they feel and drive. A 360 and a 488 are worlds apart. Not saying good or bad - just very different. A 360 and 570s again very very different cars. Is one better than the other. I don't think so. Performance-wise yes the 570s will roast a 360 in every category. I own a 360 and a 600LT. I was tempted to trade in my 360 for a 488GTB. I decided to keep the 360 and get something very different which is the 600LT and I do think the 600LT is better car for me compared to the 488 and that's no hate to the 488. It's a fantastic car. I just slightly preferred the McLaren. I like the brand, I like the styling, the steering, it's just a fun car to drive.
