Hi guys. Looking for bent or damaged McLaren or Lamborghini wheels, prefer rear wheels. These will be used for a upcoming project in unique and bespoke furniture. They will never go near being used on a car again. Curb rash, dust, dirt is fine.

Please let me know if anyone has anything kicking around. Obviously if cover cost of shipping etc.

    Thanks!!!!!!

    Ken,

Very neat to hear about projects like this. Being a wheel guy I will keep you posted if anything comes rolling my way.

    Cheers, Mat

Thanks Mat. Keen to hear what may come through.

I've finished the prototype Ferrari piece this week and am going about having it photographed and figuring out advertisement for down the road. It took three months, and is completely hand built, every component is bespoke and the creation process was fun working with an architect, I really went over the top and all out. And yes I'm being vague, because inquiring minds will have to wait and see the fruits of extensive work, money and time ;)

    Soon!

    Thanks! I'm trying!

As an FYI, prototype #2 will be a Ferrari spec build as well.

Plans for #3 and #4 have intentions of being either McLaren or Lamborghini, really based off of what type of wheels I can find. I'd prefer to do a McLaren build, as that will utilize a ton of carbon fiber and alcantera...And be glorious! :)

Kenny , thank you so much for the bespoke rim oven you made for us. You were right , we replaced our inside stove with it but it keeps setting of the smoke detectors and making small fires. Ps. The wife loves the new pot you threw in the deal.

I have a set of Callisto wheels off my Gallardo I am looking to sell. They were just refinished and would be fine to go on a car, or be made into furniture I guess

    @frankiefred

I appreciate the reply, but honestly, they're probably too nice for what I'm trying to accomplish. I'm really trying to keep cost down too on wheels, hence, if I can utilize wheels that will otherwise be scrapped, then they can live on.

Shoot me an offer. Worst I can say is no... They're just sitting at the moment, and my Gallardo is long gone.

if its that cheap ill take them(kidding)

to the op, have you tried calling a dealer? I have some ties with Pfaff Mclaren in Toronto. Never hurts to send a quick email as chances are a Mclaren with damage will show up to the dealer.

Frankie, I'm sure my offer would be considered insulting for what I'd want to pay. I don't wish to insult you. For my curiosity though, I'll PM you my email if you could send some photos over, maybe I can scrap up some cash. Thanks!

Tamas, that's an excellent idea. I will see what's local, and if the dealers can possibly help out in this case. Good point, thanks!
