Hopefully this isn't a terrible repost: http://www.formula1.gl/vids/Top%20Gear%20-%20McLaren%20F1%20in%20Snow.mpeg - Chris
I saw this video a long time ago. After watching it now, I felt the same way I did when I first saw it: the name is arguably misleading. Yes it is an F1 car by Mclaren driven in the snow. But I think unless the link was posted in the racing section, most people are expecting the Mclaren F1 3 seater supercar to be in this video which it isn't. Then again I could be the only person who was expecting the 3 seater supercar to be in the video because of the name...
I'm pissed. it is indeed misleading. also, even if i wasnt expecting the 3 seater, why is this so good?? the car isnt even going that fast......
it's not just you, dude. i was expecting the road car and cancelled the download as i read your post - thanks! doody.
Dude, we live in the land of mickyD's. If it is not 100% according to our expectations, we don't want it. GREAT VIDEO! I loved it!
reminds me of that video with the British real estate agent i think, where they have him drive his nice brand new maserati mc12 on a track in the snow, which he promptly takes it into a wall and then just laughs it off edit// i think hes an enzo owner too. some of you guys probably know his name but i cant seem to remember it
Hakkinen in a two seat F1 car with his wife (?) in the snow, nothing crazy, but worth the twenty seconds it took to download. Cool man.
Does anyonw have the whole clip ? is it Top Gear ? I remember some news when this happened, I beleive it is filmed in Finalnd, so it would be nice to see the rest of also. Thanks for posting.
no, dont you remember that time when.....hmm no. what about when.... no that doesnt count. how about when that.....wait no. yea pretty much the most pointless download ever
For those that feel it to be wrongly titled, I apologize. I posted it in a hurry the other day while "doing my homework". Anyhow, I suppose that is the fault of the internet...30 seconds of life wasted on a download is still 30 seconds too much. - Chris
What's not exciting? Watch the vid... talk about the wrong tool for the job, I guess all they were trying to prove is that it could be done, because the car barely crawled 50 yards in a straight line.
