Im just wondering if any one has ever expeirenced this wonderful piece of mechanical engineering. Ive only seen pictures but a close friend of mine was able to grab a ride in one and he said it changed his life. So share your stories (if you have them) with the rest of us.

The best person to ask is Audiguy, he is very good friends with an owner here in Texas.

    btw,
Here's a crude camera pic "photo of a photo" that I took at a car wash near my home.

AudiGuy is one of our now sometime posters who is friends with a M-F1 owner who also happens to own an Enzo, and A LAMBO Mercy that he converted to RWD because he didn't like the heavy feel the AWD gave him...

    Coolestkidever,

I would have to discuss with you your post name, considering that my son is pretty cool himself. He could tell you some stories about riding in the F1 himself. Along with riding or at least sitting in 355's, 360's, 360 Spiders, 512BBi, 355 Challenge, F50, Enzo , 360GT, Audi R8 Lemans winner and a good number of others. I have spoken before about how I would have really envied him at his age to have gotten to experience the things he has. I guess it is one of those being in the right place at the right time things.

I do have a friend who gave me his McLaren F1 to drive for three days. I had quite a time in it as has been posted on this site many times. I would bet that there are a good number of f-chatters who could probably repeat some of the stories and times that I have posted before.

If there is anything in particular I can answer for you, just let me know. I do not check everyday with working the number of hours I do now, but I will try to keep up. Just let me know......:>)

Agreed - someone gave it to me and I went from hating the MacF1 because everyone else likes it, to absolutely loving it and respecting it.

I used to hate the f1 because all of my friends always told me how awesome it was and how fast it was ... now I love it because I read that book

Picked up that book a few years back and agree that it's a good read; not your typical textbook-like automotive drivel. A well-done book or even magazine review, to me, is the best marketing tool to whet the enthusiast appetite to an even higher degree.
