It's hard keeping the rules!! http://bit.ly/adWRy0
Naw...just convince the fans to complain the rule is stupid after you break it and the FIA lets you off.
So Ferrari did not have a flexible wing? And they aren't making changes to their car? McLaren is just very open and honest. Ferrari have made changes and are making more changes, they just aren't telling you about it.
No worries, the going rate for flaunting the rules is $100k, a lot less than the WCC money you get for a win. The path is clear!
FIA has made a big change to the rule on the length of the skid plates, most all of the teams will have to make changes to the floor to be in compliance with that and other rule changes.
Hoisted by their own petard. Don't you love it when that happens. Next time maybe they'll keep their mouth shut.
What's your point? This thread is about an article about McLaren. What Ferrari does isn't relevant? Why not ask the same about Red Bull, Renault et al? Don't answer because I already know.
Hahaha . ''FIA! FIA! Red Bull has flexi wings and we can't get ours to work! Do something about it!'' ''Sure Mclaren, we'll just make the test stricter, we'll add more weight so the wings have greater stress to endure and the Red Bull won't pass'' ''Thank you FIA, now we'll win the championship for sure and those pesky Red Bulls have to find another way to do it. HA! hey...The test is too strict now FIA! This wasn't supposed to happen .'' GO Red Bull!
Hopefully with the changes the teams are making things will be be mixed up a bit at Monza. It will be sunny so the weather wont be a real factor. Should be a fun race hopefully and not too processional.
At least someone else appreciates the irony. The fewer the rules the better. I'm continually surprised by those who feel that F1 is the one area of human endeavor that needs more bureaucracy. That things can be put right with just one more reg.
Come on guys, I think at least one of you is not wearing a tinfoil hat McLaren's technical expertise is light years ahead of Ferrari. McLaren could have made the flexi wing but thought it violated the spirit of the rules so they and your favorite son Brawn jointly asked the FIA for clarification on the rule. BTW How has Ferrari done since Brawn left
Mmmm.... They weren't exactly honest about the stolen Ferrari information they were using in the past!, especially when the FIA asked them about it. They weren't exactly honest with the stewards in Australia when they tried to explain Hamilton overtaking behind the safety car!. They're not very honest when they keep making statements that they have never instigated team orders on their drivers, when I seem to recall David Coulthard being told he had to let Hakkinen past to win the race in Australia one year (and that was the first race of the season!). If their technical expertise is light years ahead of Ferrari, why did they need to use the stolen Ferrari information?. Mmmm..... This article that appeared on all the F1 sites seems to disagree with your statement: http://www.thef1times.com/news/display/01628
