I'm no expert here but has Mac EVER made money on selling passenger cars in its history? They sell a fair amount of cars. I don't think it sales.
I'm glad you said this. I get into discussions 'all the time' with guys that say they'd rather have a Corvette than a Ferrari (and they can afford both). Kinda funny - one time I was with a guy, outside a restaurant in a high-traffic area, we had just had dinner inside a place. As we are standing outside, three Corvettes drove by - he didn't even turn his head, then a 355 drove by, and he ogled all over it... I said 'there's why you own a Ferrari'. (well, ONE reason) I also agree - Tesla would make NO sense - but Musk buying Twitter made no sense, either, and Toyota doesn't really need it - they are more conservative than GM is, unless McLaren has some technologies they want to buy/own the patents to, to use in new cars they want to develop.
