Chip, I hope you don't mind, I linked your pics, they look great. Here are a few of mine. It was nice to see fellow LSU grads taking time to come out and support the group. Just a few pics of the event. http://forums.audiworld.com/rs4b7/msgs/49005.phtml
WOW! I can't believe I missed the McLaren F1! All I can say is wow...and kick myself for not driving down to this car show! Great pictures, and nice video, thanks for sharing.
Neat video The red bull F1 car was badass, but it didn't have nuthin on the LSU SAE car. A little hot out there, I must say.
Kinda funny that no one posts pictures of the F1 race car. But lots of pictures of the F1 road car. Like your new T-Bird Craig?
Why is everyone so secretive about the Mclaren F1s owner? Has he requested that his identity be kept private? Is he afraid of a kidnapping attempt? Just wondering. Flash
On the subject of McLaren photos, I have posted a few new ones in the 'Showroom' forum: http://ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=149127
We are here to talk about cars, not the people who drive/own them. Especially when it involves the internet a small bit of privacy is not too much to ask. I would suggest that anyone who really wants to meet them make the next event. Who knows they might be at the event next year. You know it was a fund raiser for the LSU F1 team so it is for a good cause.
Ditto on the respect for their privacy. Just like the reason it's courtesy to blank out the license plates of cars when you post pictures of them.
I agree that privacy should be respected, but I disagree with this point - license plate images are in the public domain and cannot be used to trace the vehicle back to the owner anymore anyway. No need to blur them out.
