McLaren Toronto Event

I just finished writing something to that effect. It's a clear competitor to the 458, has a lot of similar high-performance tech and McLaren benchmarked it right, it weighs less and has more power than the 458. I'm not surprised they're getting interest from Ferrari owners because McLaren's got a legitimate racing heritage, which is something many other brands do not.

Non-virtual friends can spot me in that clip.

And I love the way Madeline Stephenson speaks, I could listen to her all day.

 

Its a great car! That or a 458 is still a toss up for me. Its going to sell real well.

 

This car is a no brainer.

Well , I heard the car listed at $300K; no a no brainer for everyone ! However what a beautiful car that is a real competitor of F458, I think ! Wish to test drive one; if I like it I might trade my F430 for it.

 

Was at the event here in Toronto, got a good look at the car. I've also seen the 458. The MP4 may win on specs, but it just isn't a pretty car. I just can't get excited over it.

Also, I don't like where they put the F1 shifters, they are on the steering column, not on the wheel itself. Minor thing, but I prefer where they are on Ferrari (also what I'm used to I guess)

Thanks for sharing the video, I got invitation but was not able to go for the event but my friend did. He placed an order, delivery next July. I am thinking of getting one too, but there is no price out yet!??
