Three days ago McLaren: Problems from testing are resolved. autosport.com/f1/news/134910/mclaren-problems-from-testing-are-resolved … And now: burn scars reappearing again. (Aus GP FP1)
Alonso last year "Qualifying 11th is unacceptable" this year "Qualifying 11th shows we have unlocked potential!"
I think his eyes are on LeMans so he's happy to play ball at McLaren as a thank you. Their qualifying performance was pathetic considering the problem has supposedly been all engine and not chassis.
Fact: Mclaren gained 40% points of its entire 2017 season haul in just one 2018 race. Image Unavailable, Please Login
I am critical of the direction of F1. There is no question about that. And I'm hardly alone. But find a quote from me ever that I said I would never watch it again. You can't.
Succinctly demonstrates on Sunday in Australia ‘what’s the plan guys?, heck, I’m going for it’ in a voice filled with arrogance, expectation and bravado. Chooses party mode on his joystick and .......... ooooohhhhhh arghhhhhh as he suffers a squeaky bum moment and does some off roading, damaging his tyres and losing 2 seconds that lap....... if I was in the Mercedes pit, I’d have radioed back and said ‘have you started yet sunbeam?’ and then roared with laughter at his embarrassment. Yep, cool, calculating, elton........ does not exist
A bit of Mclaren analysis on where they are and hope to be pace-wise - https://www.bbc.com/sport/formula1/43562369
What BS! Are car is under performing because we tried too hard Ummm....no. It's because you engineering it poorly! http://www.planetf1.com/news/mclaren-we-pushed-the-limits-a-bit-too-far/
They packed it too tightly once again, and now it's compromised. When did they start this size zero ****? 2013 was it not? You'd think after 5 seasons and 3 engine manufacturers they'd learn their lesson...
McLaren is spinning to explain how the Haas cleaned their clocks in practice and qualifying. All winter they had they had the best handling car and best package. So it isn't because you "tried to hard"? Sound like a 5th grader explaning to his parents why we he failed a math exam
