My wife and I love the modern meads... I have have had traditional mead in the UK and US, but the newer lighter versions are better in my opinion.

Homer, AK has two Meaderies. Ring of Fire, which has great meads and another one, which I cannot remember there name. They make flavored meads, and meads from all kinds of different honeys.

There is also Meadery in Boulder, CO which makes mead and nectors.

What is your favorite place or type?
