    I have a friends who lives in Southlake, and she's having issues with her CLK 500. She's had it with the dealer. Anyone know a good independent Merc. tech? Anything in Southlake, or close?

    The "Highly Recommended" place I was using briefly for my SL had a habit of using the painted bodywork or previously perfect SS bumper skin to stop their ratchets and wrenches, "because it's an old car". <sigh>

    I ended up getting an e-mail and pm for Trinity Automotive in Colleyville. IMO, no Mercedes Benz is ever really a cheap fix, but I feel the repair costs were fair.
