A British mechanic with the McLaren Mercedes Formula One racing team fell to his death Wednesday from the eighth floor of a Budapest hotel, AFPare reporting.

The 29-year-old fell from a terrace which was normally off-limits, police said. Foul play was not suspected but an investigation was taking place.

The unnamed man was here with the McLaren team for Sunday's Hungarian Grand Prix. No further details are currently available.

"No sire, you can't use that Vinaigrette instead of the regular hydraulics oil. Trust me, it won't work."

    This is sad news.

I don't think there will be podium celebrations again this week if there are any McLarens on the podium.

Hungary will also be the last time we see the West logos on the McLaren cars. The title sposorship comes to an end as a result of the ban on tobacco advertising.

    Not funny.

Why laugh at someones death? Since when is it funny? Not getting on my "high horse", but perhaps some compassion is called for. Spent 3 happy years with the F1 Team at the factory and travelling with them and know the team at Absolute Taste very very well-didn't know Darren-all these guys work very hard and it is a very "family" enviroment, everyone will be very upset by what has happends. Comments like this are not called for.

    Grow up.
