    All,

I just wanted to share the specifics of my AWESOME experience with a shop I had never done business with before: Boston Sportscar and their mechanic, Enzo Joe! Since he is doing the major service on my new baby, I wanted to share the SUPERB service I received from Joe all throughout my Pre-Purchase Inspection right up through the closing of the sale.

Taking advice from FChatter Doody (among others) I gave Joe a call. From the first moment he treated me like we were long lost friends. Walked me through the process of the PPI, sent photos, emailed me with advice, and called me on a number of occasions to let me know what the status was on the car. In fact, Joe treated me so well, that I decided to take my business of the major service to him as well. I live withing 40 miles of Ferrari of Washington, but there was no way I could just tell Joe thanks for the PPI and see ya later. Not after the FANTASTIC way I was treated! Keep in mind that I haven't even met Joe in person! First class, professional, honest, up-front, polite...the list goes on and on with Joe and Boston Sportscar. In fact, I kick off my Enzo Joe for President campaign this Tuesday ;-)

I would like to know if anyone has had a similar experience and found your mechanic from heaven...please share!

    Cheers,
    Travis

Haha, nice followup thread! Good to hear about these positive experiences. I myself am happy to have found both a good private car mechanic and also a good private bike mechanic. My car mechanic is retired in an old town in the foothills where he has a shop and does this work as his hobby. He's retired from 40 years of experience and does very very honest work and knows everything you can imagine. Basically same deal with my bike mechanic except people found him and he's got a whole front yard worth of bikes ahead of him to work on so waits can be a little extended. Never the less, it's worth the wait for quality work!
