on the miniwerks forum there is a collection of handbuilts that's really amazing.
It looks like the bbr museum!

Just saw that, an amazing collection for sure. What is even more amazing is that some of them look as though he has also built them himself as the cases and labelling do not appear to be "facory built" on some. Makes me wonder how long he took to create that collection.

I also see a lot of early BBR models, BBR started in the 1980's, so the collection must have been started back then.
Thow impressive, I prefer a smaller number of models. quality is not about numbers.

The model that stands out in your new displayroom is the Brianza Dino.
I have several Brianza's, but there are never more than 2 on display, and that makes them even more special to look at!
The same goes for my BBR collection. I have around a hundred, they are displayed in series, not all at once.
On the other hand......I do not have the opportunity to create special room in the house....
(hhhmmm, I could kick my kids out, but then I think my wife isn't staying too, so thats not an option).

Early BBR's untill 1991, had no display plinths or boxes, just the white cardboardbox with sticker of contence.
Around 1991 they were in the wide boxes with plinth in plexi or plastic
From 1998 BBR models have displayboxes as we use nowadays.

I guess the collector diplays his older models in the new boxes to prevent them from getting dusty. I do the same.

Its possible the owner builds kits, that takes a lot of practice and patience.
(took me a few years to get them up to factorystandard).
Some are only made as kits.

The collector is one of the largest BBR dealers in europe.
There are very little built up kits in the collection
most of the old BBR factory built models are stored in boxes to get them dust free
