    I was told by Peter R that there was going to be a drive on Friday. I don't have any of the details yet but would like to come up if the snow holds off........but then again, I DO have chains. ;-)

    I haven't heard from Peter yet this afternoon so can anybody elaborate? Give me an address and time and I might be able to make it.

    DJ made it up to the event and we both had a great time! This year's drive had the usual tour of Stanley Park and Downtown Vancouver, but this year, the drive finished in North Burnaby at the Model Railroad museum (working small-scale passenger trains, both diesel and steam!).

    There are many pictures folks, be patient while they all load...

    It was generally a nice day - pretty cold - a mix of sun, clouds and a few patches of rain.

    All told, there must have been a 120+ classic, vintage and antique cars that showed up

    One of the few modern cars present, a DeLorean.

    At one point on the drive through Stanley Park, It was DJ in his 308, the DeLorean and me tagging along behind...

    The engine of a brass-era Cadillac. It was running while I took this picture! Hilarious as it just idled away at a few hundred RPM, making a "put-put-put-put-put" noise!

    Finishing at the railroad museum, here's one of the steam-powered units getting ready to "depart the station". There were long line-ups for a ride on these trains.
