No problem my west-coast friend. BTW, why would you miss a 308 whan you're gliding along in a gorgeous 355?
I love the performance, sound and modern conveniences of the 355, but I have an affinity for the classic shape of the 308. It was my first...and you never forget your first!
David, your car is AWSOME pictures CANNOT do justice to its beauty my jaw dropped to the floor lol. I took some pics of your car I'll post 'em later and I also have a video of you, anyone know where I can host it?
Yes, bought them from another FChatter (through ebay). I wanted a set for the track. Thought I'd try them out. What do you think? (I'll have to get a closeup, don't have one yet).
Here are some pics, sorry for the blur, I did not have my tripod with me, and was a bit intoxicated lol .
Ok, so I'm in North Vancouver visiting my buddies brother when up rolls 2 cars onto his driveway. Now the thing is, these weren't ordinary cars. These cars happened to be a Porsche Carrera GT and Lamborghini Murcielago. Alright, I've seen nice cars, but this freakin left me without words for days. My buddy's brother pulled up in the Murcielago and another guy in the Carrera. The guy driving the Carrera owned both cars, and was letting the other guy drive the lambo. Now your probably thinkin, ok the guy must be like in his 30's or 40's.......no no no, he's 28. Yeah that's right, 28 stinkin years old. Now, somebody fill me in. What the heck do these people do??? I'm only 17 so I have a future and i'm thinkin I want to do whatever this guys does.
BALLER!! what color were both cars? did u go for a spin or anything? and last but not least, any pictures?
I am a little familiar with north vancouver, but would it be possible to give me some directions for the meet? If possible that be much appreciated. Look forward to seeing an awesome show.
Funny, at the Ottawa event someone asked me what my father-in-law did for a living. I answered that he was a landscape artist. To which he answered "oh that figures". (mumbling to myself) Jackass...
Sadly I did not go for a ride in anything, the closest I got was being able to sit in the Carrera and rev the engine. hahaha, still an awesome experience. My biggest regret, by far, is that I don't have any pics. Mind you, I wasn't expecting anything special that day, so I didn't have a camera. The cars were silver (GT) and Yellow (murci)
Could have been this one? It was at Porsche Lauzon (Quebec) april 29 and was leaving for Vancouver. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Waterfront Park, two blocks west of the Lonsdale Quay Market. Ask anyone in North Van where the Lonsdale Quay is....they can direct you.
It could have been that car, it was stock and so is the one in the pic. There's no real way of telling. lol
