Hey guys, just got back from Naples, Florida... thought I'd post some pics of the F430 Spider down in the sunny south! Had an amazing time, the weather was perfect, lots of drinking, and LOTS of speeding! lol Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Awesome bro. Glad you had a great time. Your old man usually bring a pair down correct? What was the second lucky car this time. Barchetta again? V.
Thanks guys!! Happy New Year to you as well!! Rick, are you back from vacation yet? You were going to Hawaii no? Vasco, this year he just brought down the F430 and the E55... its a 2 car garage down there, and I guess he didn't want to leave the E55 outside anymore.
Looks like you had a great vacation! That 430 is amazing, must have been great driving that in the sun. Welcome back to all the sh!tty Canadian weather
Man, that has got 2 be one of the nicest, if not the nicest f430 ive ever seen. Man lol nice plates 2...u also own a 550 barchetta and lambo murcie? lol i wonder wat the americans thought when they saw a canadian ferrari
did u go vacationing there? or do u have a place in Naples... if so join the club.. saw one 430 convertible in red but it had Florida plates on it
...Well, I've had the car over a week now, so I guess better late than never, so here's my new Smart car! I love it. Of course, I had to put Ferrari stickers on it! The car features F1 paddle shifting and it has given me a new appreciation for this system (being an old-school, standard-shifting guy). It is not as fast as Ferrari's/Maserati's system, but it ultra smooth - no jerkiness - and even blips the throttle on downshifts. Way cool! You can use either the paddle shifters, or the stick shift at anytime. I find I do most of my shifting with the paddles, but ocassionally use the stick (old habits are hard to break) It's a great car and perfect for my needs of short-commuting daily driver duties. Very nice car and color combination! And gotta love that Ferrari sticker. LOL By the way, any new pics of your Ferrari?
i have to say adding the ferrari sticker isnt cheap looking at all...it makes yo dd so much cooler...but it already is cool on its own....
Cool.....I had one on order until I was told that a proper manual would not be part of the Canadian equipment package.
i actually went to the Smart test drives where they set up a mini autox. the feeling they left me was a very poor handling car. the steering is vague; the brakes are weak; the finish is ikea. personally it would irritate the hell out of me if it were my daily driver.
With such a short wheelbase, even Jesus couldn't make it handle ... it's a pure commuter car, I guess,
Smarts are cool.. I wish we got the Smart Roadster over here, those things are awesome! Saw a bunch of them cruising around when i was in Vienna.. Enjoy it!
heh, first time I saw one was in Europe when the roadster came out. I was at the Casino in Estoril. And low and behold......in the middle of the Ferrari's Bentley's Maser's there was a dude in a smart car roadster that pulled up into the vallet section. Priceless. The guy was pimpin. V.
...And that's all. After an hour on the highway at 120Km/h and 4000+RPM with the motor sitting behind you, the noise is ridiculous.
