I agree, the video turned out great, although we're already thinking of ways to dramatically improve on the types of shots for the next run, including possibly mounting some cameras on the outside of the cars etc.
Thought i'd "sticky" this thread for a little bit. Alot of work and participation into this great video so it would be ashame to let this thread die. Arshad, I am sure the next will be even better with more camera shots as you say. Maybe even Rick will let you suction a camera to his head for great on-board shots? LOL Man, Im gonna pay for this. Did you ever take a look at the Rocky Mountain video the boys out in Alberta did? That was also an awesome vid. Complete with an Enzo, helicopter shots and all! Im too lazy right now to search for it. But its here somewhere I think. Anybody!
Looks great !! Tell the boys its a great video, even if the majority of the shots of the video seem to be of nsxs (cough...cough...cough).....lol !! Thanks for sharing. Maybe if Vasco could put up an Exotic at the next meet as opposed to busting my stones, life would be better for all of us here on fchat. But i think the only thing he will bring will be a Portugal flag ........... but if he brings some hot Portugal or Brasilian girls he would be aces in my book. So im calling you out Vasco, dare to be around the fall run ? You got lots of time to make yourself available, and any hot babes.
Bro, yah never know. I hope to show. I would like to see some get together's even before that! Not August of course...i'll be gone. V..
Great pictures all. When I get time, I'll post my write up on this event. It was maybe the best Ferrari event that I have ever been to. Dale
pas trop difficile à reconnaitre ce Mr Duval je venais tout juste de terminer la conversation avec lui le sujet était très intéressant et drôle....
I was told "you should come to the next one in July", so I did. Dennis was right, it was a great event. Aside from Lorne's FXX there was an F40 with Ontario plates - don't see that very often. In the family touring session I got a ride in a black 246 Dino GT for the entire time of that session. Very cool ride. Pictures from that event can be seen here: http://community.webshots.com/album/551988839
It won't be as rare in the next couple years! The 15 year rule will not be a factor and people are free to import them into Canada. And from experience....that car is FAST
Hey Guys, Well yesterday was nothing short of amazing! It was nice not having to wake up at 4am an take the bus this time haha. A great turnout with amazing weather, 2 highlights of the FXX and F40 were very nice. Family touring was one of the best experiences of my life! Joe in the F40 took me around for a bunch of laps, then let he took my mom around as well. VERY nice guy who has a huge passion for Ferrari. I've been around Mosport in a few cars, but the F40 was just amazing. I've never felt such acceleration before! Nice seeing PSOD again enjoying every second of the 355! Frank (355 on fchat) your 355 is beautiful, I can't wait to take you up on your offer when you recieve the challange car . All in all it was a perfect day, nice to see everyone again! As for the pictures, I really wanted to get unique angles and details this time around. You may notice that some of the photo's may look a little confusing, but that is what I was going for! I love capturing details on the cars that no one really notices. Enjoy, http://supercarfreak.net/gallery/album294 Lucas
Sounds like you had a great time. I only hope one day I can get a ride around the track in a ferrari. I will have to come out to the next track day Ps Very very nice photos
Your detail shots are bang on. I would have moved the garbage pail and distracting cones: http://supercarfreak.net/gallery/album294/Picture_1077
I don't that is the issue. When the car came out it was not approved by the MTO (bumper issue) for street use. I remember when Luigi Bruzio (Gentry Lane fame) had one, he drove it eraly in the morning on the gardiner to avoid cops.
What Luca is trying to say is now that the F40s are more than 15 years old, they no longer have to compy with the MTO regulations including the bumber speed test.
Was the F40 being DRIVEN or tippytoed around the track? Dream car. What did it get up to before 8? 270? Enter 4 at 200?
