there is a prototype that is and has been running in maranello, i am still amazed the photos of the car, which do exist, haven't surfaced yet

 

It's just an old photoshop image.......someone's wild imagination. There is nothing yet related to the F430 successor.

 

PRETTY WEIRD THAT we dont have any spy shot so far ?

the car has been running for some time, spy photos do exist, i don't quite understand why they haven't been posted. they aren't anything to get overly excited about at this time, but.....

 

I haven't heard of that car yet...........if you know something, tell us and if you have some spy shots or seen them, please post them.

Very strange indeed as it has been tested even outside Italy.

According to a renown German car dealer who is usually very well informed because of his excellent connections with the Ferrari management, Ferrari already finished working on the design of the F142. In fact, he told me that he has already seen the car and that it looks impressive!

Last time i spoke to him (February), he also told me about the engine and performance figures. I'm not kidding you, if what the dealer told me is true, Lambo and Porsche should start making up some very good excuses... They are in for a BIG surprise

 

If their long history is to repeat itself the (completely) new model won't look anything like the current one.

 

Just learned from the dealer that there are over 150 enthusiasts who already made deposit for the upcoming model without knowing anything about the car, any thoughts about what the most possibly specs might be? how is the chance of with a V10?

 

Probably another V8 with a slightly bigger engine displacement that takes design cues from the Enzo.

Chance for V10 = 0 %. Ferrari are going for lighter cars to be able to keep power and fuel consumption down. Expect a Fsi V8 of 530 hp maybe ? Combine that with a lighter car then F430.

 

Please don't. I had enough styling from Enzo. It's a great car, don't get me wrong, but enough with the rear brake duct & tail lamps cut and paste jobs. The tail lights on the California are almost painful to look at. Stop trying so hard.

 

Seems to me that by each new model Ferrari is going out of my taste more and more. Therefore i am afraid how the successor will look like.......Currently if i would like to replace my 360, i do not see any model i like more (except CS). In this case i like Lambo`s, the new LP640 is the way how exotic car should look like. Just my opinion guys, dont flame me please.....

 

355, 360, then 430,.......435??? Not serious.

 

Unlike the others, I need to know more before I decide to give up my CS and get into the queue for the new model.

 

hmm... this is interesting, I like the lines of the Enzo very much.
