May our sweet things come in first and second. That is how nature says it should be. Ferrari - Ferrari.

    I predict:

    1. Massa
    2. Kimi
    3. Fernando

I don't see Kimi beating Massa until after the first few races... after that, Massa won't touch him.

HA, I was thinking that also...

This may be a year of every race Alonso either gets 1st or last due to DNF.

Anyone think Fisi will surprise us? The Renault is still a very good machine...

I think Fisi will be upstaged by his teammate. Renault has problems this year - they are 1/2 second per lap down from McLaren and Ferrari. Fisi says they are struggling -> grip not great, no downforce and tyres not working as thought. I hope Massa continues his pace above his teammate and Hamilton puts it to Alonso. I think Massa is on track with his comments about Lewis. Then let us not forget Kubica.

    I can't stand Alonso either. :p

I even talked to a nice couple this weekend from Barcelona and they said that many people in Spain don't like him either...

Still, every great story needs a villain!! :D

Just read them in a newspaper:

    First row: Massa and Alonso
    2nd row: Kimi and Heidfeld

He doesn't pick a finishing order though. He expects Massa to do wonders at the beginning of the season, but Kimi to eventually catch up and overtake.

He rates Alonso as the best driver of the grid and therefore thinks McLaren will have a comeback.

And he thinks the BMW is going to be a rocket and Heidfeld will keep the advantage over Kubica due to his experience.

PS: Blick's Roger Benoit (just like Niki Lauda) thinks Kimi is under a huge amount of pressure from Massa and has to start delivering soon or the team will sway Massa's way. Ron, feeling better now? :)

I dont think Kimi will be put under that type of pressure. He has big enough shoes to fill, plus the backend has some new faces. The whole team is most likely thinking just another day at the office.

    I like your view. :)

I have the feeling all this "Massa is better than Kimi, Ferrari has now a problem/internal battle" is just another way to sell newspapers during the off season. All of that will disappear one way or the other once some results are in. As Blick's Roger Benoit pointed out: This has been one of the longest off seasons in recent history. What else is there to write about?

Oh and btw: Lauda disrespects Spyker completely: He thinks they're in it only for money and don't know what they're doing. That made a bit sad because I look at them as the Ferrari C team. Oh well.

What's with all the Massa fans now?????

I remember right after last season in all the threads on here everyone was saying that Massa couldn't drive his way out of a paper bag next to Kimi... and it was only omgjon and I defending him.

    What's changed people's minds?

I like Massa and think that he will out perform the Kimster for the first 1/4 of the season, after that I think it will equal out with one not out performing the other consistently. I hope Alonso doesn't finish one race this year, I like McLaren just not Alonso.

I really feel that given the times BMW could end up being best behind Ferrari and McLaren, Heikki is still a rookie and next year he will be better. Fisi isn't strong at all imo, Honda is close but I'm not sure how the car will be. Newey going to RBR has been possibly the most overhyped story ever, sure his cars look awesome recently but results are what matters.
