    That Corvette used to belong to Dale Earnhart Jr. That explains it...

    I'm pretty sure it didn't. His didn't have the hood (and was newer).

    That's the only link I could find in the time alotted. I saw a similar looking Corvette at last years Corvette Funfest in Effingham, Illinois. I'm pretty certain it's the exact same one given the fact the flames are everywhere, the steering wheel matches, and the doors match. Had Kentucky plates. I thought the same thing too when I saw it but I disntinctly remember Dale's signature being in a few places on the car and they weren't there when I looked at it.
