    I thought that filthy disgusting scumbag was banned from all FIA sanctioned events for life. Sure appears that little "penalty" has been forgotten too. :(

    And before anyone again goes down the "but no one was hurt" road - That's *completely* and utterly irrelevant & not at all the point. He willingly & knowingly put drivers, marshals & spectators at huge risk for his own gain.

    It's anathema to everything motor racing is about. Anyone who claims it was "just a harmless stunt";

    A - Doesn't get it.
    B - Has never witnessed a drivers (or marshals, or spectators) death.

    I'm with Pedro here - He really should have done time for attempted manslaughter.

    I certainly don't claim to know any details of what this "veto power" is all about, but it's certainly not any kind of blanket "if you don't like it, you can veto it" as some appear to be claiming here.

    If any team wishes to, they can file a protest against any competitor. Very, very, rare as most know, and didn't even happen with the Cans EBD in 2011 - Some of them were whining about it ahead of Silverstone, but IIRC no official protests were filed; Charlie attempted to issue a "clarification" which would have outlawed it, but even that didn't go through.

    Again, rule changes, particularly in-season are *incredibly* rare. Pretty much impossible in fact as it needs unanimous approval from all teams, and that *never* happens. Even off-season changes (for the following year) need unanimous approval; It's not until they're discussing two years out that a "simple" majority can force changes thru.

    Ferrari are a part of the SWG, and have the same powers there as the other members. But beyond that, I'm not sure exactly what this mythical "veto power" actually is. But it's certainly not a veto to change anything they don't like for some reason.

    Cheers,
    Ian

    Yap, instead he decided to look away and awarded the title to Hamilton......wich is a bit strange if one is to believe the conspiracy against Hamilton and Mclaren that you so often refer to......
