Merc want Nico long term

I brought this up a few weeks ago. Ms only has 1.5 year left at most; merc has to lock up nico long term....

 

I read about this yesterday and wasn't sure what to take from it as I sense Nico has a lot of confusion over what to do. MB keeps promising a good car but has yet to deliver and Nico is not getting any younger. Meanwhile, Ferrari contacted him and I am sure he hopes something comes from that. Tough call

My thoughts:
They could do a lot worse.
He could do a lot better.

 

Hamilton just listed Nico, Vettel, and Alonso as the best drivers on the field and his biggest competition. Nico needs to be the #1 in a car for his abilities. I don't think he will be really allowed to be #1 at any of the other teams is the thing. He's either stuck at MB crossing his fingers for a good car next year or he will be a #2 at Ferrari or Red Bull getting in their #1 driver's hair as I have no doubt he will be as good as their respective #1 drivers.

Yeah I think Ferrari deserve him. He and Alonso could potentially make the best driver team in F1. Alonso is just an unbelievably good driver and I would love to see how Nico would do with him
