My wife has 2020 450 GLS. Does nit have back up cameras. I cant imagine why such a luxury vehicle doesn't. Anyhow, local shops are telling me that they cannot be added or retro fit. Is this true? Or does anyone know an alternative other than buying a new car.
Check with an advanced automotive audio dealer. They usually have s workaround to the video inputs. If you cant find one PM me and i know someone if your willing to ship your car.
Many many many retro fit car cams, including license plate-frame cams that do not look like they are aftermarket. I would be extremely wary of the shops that told you there were none. They are tech ignorant, which is Stone Aged these days.
It should have backup cameras as they were required after 2018 I believe. If it has the cameras - maybe the audio alerts are just turned off in settings?
