Some years ago fellow fchatter Timmmmy (my apologies if I'm misspelling his nickname, it's just too many M's :D) predicted the Uhlenhaut could be the most expensive car ever sold. I guess he was right :)

The other day Tom Hartley Jr. was talking about exciting Mercedes news on his instagram, and I dont think it was the Gullwing he put up for sale today. Must be this.

Mercedes sold their best car to “provide educational and research scholarships in the areas of environmental science and decarbonization for young people.” What a bunch of idiots.

Why does it matter if they still own "their best car" or not? The car still exists. Why do you care what the funds are used for? Is your checkbook being personally affected?

How does this "lifetime loan" work? He paid for full use of the car whenever he wants, but Mercedes retains it in their facilities?

He bought the car, they backpedaled and he sued. Then they came to this arrangement where he has it on "lifetime loan" in the sense that it's his until he dies then it's theirs again.

No visible air filter. Nothing was removed for “better photo access,” etc.

The only concern I’d have is that the car is properly preserved and maintained. Mercedes would presumably be best equipped to do this.
