    It's quite a lengthy piece that digs into Toto's mental health, foibles, Hamilton, F1's history, this year's last 6 weeks or so, etc. I found it interesting...it kind of fills in the details of the behind the scene action.

    Well, he is not anywhere close to being 'normal' human. 20 years of seeing a psych., incredibly obsessed with what most would call minutiae(ex., Mercedes has a 'head of hygiene' guy. Toto has specs on how many times the toilet brush is shaken before storage. (It's 2.) He maintains that Mercedes has fewer team illnesses as a result.) He refers to Horner as 'simple', i.e., not complex like him. Not a new notion, but 'success' is not always pretty.

    So another Ron Dennis lol. Who cares. He has been getting results Ferrari only dream of. He irritates Horner which is always a good laugh. He has quirks. So shocking to hear another human has them LOL.

    I'm not team Toto for sure, but this is not fair.

    Luca, Todt, and Brawn were obsessives just like Toto. They backed their drivers to the death, searching for every technical advantage on the track, as well off the track, because they wanted to make sure their talent could win.

    Toto poached the best of the best to build the Mercedes empire, just like Todt did. He got Cowell from Cosworth, Costa and Allison from Ferrari, and when he got competition from Vettel-Ferrari he backed Hamilton 100% and insured the car was built to his needs.

    Toto has this amazing trait that Ferrari should consider obtaining: it's called competence. They should go purchase some. They need it.

    What's not 'fair'? I reported what the article said. Then concluded Toto isn't 'normal'. That's true, isn't it? BTW, there's more to the article than Toto...my initial response was to a question about Toto which another(you, too?) seemed to zero in on; probabaly not reading the article.

    Read the article and make your own conclusions; I'm an not an advocate of anything other than that.

    I dont really care how 'normal' fits anything related to F1 lol. Leadership as well. Results are ALL that matter. We have 2 teams who focus on that and staff accordingly. They design systems/management controls to facilitate sustained performance and winning.
