    hi guys.
    one of my daughters lives in west hollywood, and called me this morning with a minor issue on her 2006 Mercedes ML350. the rear hatch lock mechanism is acting up and now wont latch.
    my suspicion is that the lubricant in the mechanism has gunked up and wont allow the latch to cycle correctly. this may be an easy fix of just cleaning it out and relubing it, or it might have resulted in the latch motor burning out.
    anyway, i am trying to help her from afar, so the question is, is there a reputable guy i can have her take the car to near west hollywood?

    I can highly recommend Swiss Motors.

    Although they are in Culver City (not that far) I use them for a variety of work. They have great skills and even more important professional and ethical behavior. I appreciate your situation from when my So Cal daughter attended 4 years of University in CT. It's sometimes tough to be Dad in another time zone or from a distance. 310 398 5111

    she made an appointment for monday.
    they asked her for a reference, and i gave them Mr. Sark, but they did not recognize the name.
    is there a name we can give them?
