    I know it's a spy shot of a prototype but it looks to me like that car has an identity crisis. looks like a lot of different cars...not all of them good.

    I'm seeing a 2nd Gen RX7 mated w/ a Delorean.

    You can't go wrong with [OEM] Gullwing doors..

    Look at the grille.

    From what I can see it will look very similar to the classic Gullwing.

    Look-->http://image.automobilemag.com/f/features/news/25_most_beautiful_cars/6688507/0610_z+1954_mercedes_SL300_gullwing+25_most_beautiful_cars.jpg

    The one bar with the large bezel in the middle - awesome.

    The door, from the side perspective, has a similar shape as well and the car's overall proportions are fantastic.

    Long nose, short boot.

    Man, the more I look at this car's nose it really looks like a 612.

    Kudos for Mercedes tapping into some tradition.

    My only question: aren't those doors illegal, if you go upside down you're in trouble.

    So dont go upside down.

    I didnt know Mercedes was going through with this, I thought it was all hype. It should be very interesting when the camo gets taken off and we get to see what it really looks like.

    IIRC, that car is a pure mule -- it's basically using Dodge Viper body panels with the SLC guts. This version looks like they're now testing the actual gullwing design...

    I wouldn't fret over the looks...car will probably look almost nothing like that....
