    Wow.. went down to the specialist paint supplier today looking for "Rosso Corsa 300-12 DS" for touch-up on my 96-355 and discovered many options... 5 to be exact..

    Std
    Std darker
    Std lighter
    Std+darker+yellow
    Std+lighter+yellow

    I saw the paint chips and sure enough they are all slightly different, but the same code.

    No reference to what DS stands for on any records.

    Anyone have any ideas/ info on the various shades, their application, and as to what the heck DS means..

    My guess, DS must be an Italian reference for one of the options?? Jan
