    I think this plan is outrageous and just another way to put more money into FNA and the dealer's pockets. Given the QUALITY of the work that I HAVE SEEN FROM 'AUTHORIZED' DEALERS OVER THE YEARS...this will be a recipe for disaster.

    As far as maintainance costs go....if you put the $4K/year in an interest bearing account...you will come out ahead. My cars have cost me an average of $5K in maintainace every 5 years...that's $1k/year. I haven't had many big failures over the years. I have had a 308, 348, Mondial t, TR, and an F40....and they were all pretty bullit proof and fairly easy to maintain.

    The dealers want to fool you into thinking this is rocket science.....well...it's not! The average owner can do alot himself...and the major stuff can be done better AND cheaper going independent.

    Don't be fooled.........
