Well zupras 12, so a cross country journey pretty much mandates a chaffuer..

He is also hoping to take possesion of one of my racing karts while there, to have a Ferrari of the appropriate scale! A rental truck will be required to carry it home to Georgia...

The event is fairly expensive for participants with Ferraris ordering the E Ticket, but he is hoping to attend as many as possible..the key event being the Black Tie Ball held Saturday night on Bourbon Street, in addition to Track Day and the Concours......

He was beside himself this morning as we chatted over Irish Coffee in Speedy's Cafe, wanting to know how to bridge the gap between where he IS on his cash verses where he NEEDS to be...so I suggested he just "throw it out there" with this thread...to gather a little more support.

He's not som much "dating" his mom so much as "taking" her, as she is "taking" HIM.....LOL!

It's a great event and Napolis has commited to being there with ALL THREE of his cars.........as well as NO natives John Houghtaling (event host) and Jim Spiro, whose 330LM TRI is also out in Monterrey today......

So it's a pretty big deal....I'm taking both Ferraris.....from Houston.

I'll be back in the "Scratched and Dented" row, at the Concours.....

Well you normally add all your sponsor logos to your race car....so if anybody throws down some serious money here, we'll give 'em some space on the kart.... see?

LetsJet, this event has been covered in FORZA as THE event of the south for Ferrari cars...police escorts thru the French Quarter, out to the race track event with open exhausts and slicks on the streets, Black Tie Ball with blinky light Ferrari Mardi Gras beads to throw off the balcony to "interested" pedestrians below..... CONSIDER attending if you can... Napolis will bring the P3/4, Lola, and GT40, Jim Spiro has his 330TRI/LM he just bought at $6M, John Houghtaling is a host with the ex Shah of Iran Miura SV, this thing brings out some impressive iron...Roland Linder's F40LM...

I'm driving my two 308GTBs over so I'm set top be there. HURRY to make reservations at the host Hotel and be sure to ask for the FCA of Louisiana block of rooms, Jr. Suites or BIG HONKIN' Party down and do the gator suites!
