Yes, after a long and dubious search I found it. Fresh off the truck is the new addition to the family, my 98 355 Spyder 6spd. Only bad side effect is garage space just exceded maximum density because the award winning C5 still isnt sold, Its hard to sell a convertible when its snowing, so after a game of musical chairs the 7 series got the boot, poor thing looks really cold out there with all that ice and snow on it. I actually first located the 355 from a fellow F-Chatter in Indy who told me about it before it hit the market. I guess I owe Rob a Ride, Thanks Rob for this great community you host.
Congratulations Brian! Make sure you let that thing stretch it's legs as soon as possible... it just had a long hard trip! Let's hope Santa brings some nicer weather ASAP.
Congrat for your new addition. This must be the right timing for jolly & happy X'mas for you, Brian. Looking forward to see your new addition! Welcome to the 355 Club!

WAHOOO! Congrats, I know you've been looking for a while. That's a great color. Ready to kill some cones in Kilgore?
The only thing that would have made your car better would have been "Santa bought me a Spyder" instead of "Santa brought me a Spyder" Beautiful car, Santa is bringing me one too. It arrives tomorrow morning Christmas Day! Alas, he didn't buy mine either! hehe
Santa can be kinda cheap that way. Duane do you by chance know Keith Phillips or his sons David or Carson from Scurry? Hope to see that 360 at the events.
I'm calling my law people - - Santa's sleigh didn't stop at my place - - He had a sign that read "Jordan's Or Bust". What's this sh!!t? Happy Holidays, Hank
Santa brought me a couple of Ferrari Formula One Cars! 1:43rd scale Not driveable, but better than a kick in the pants. Merry Christmas everybody.
I got (total surprise) a high tech Ferrari-licensed alarm clock that is frequency tuned to the national atomic clock, monitors inside and outside temperatures and weather forecasts, optically projects the time on the ceiling in big red letters along with a prancing horse, and has an alarm that you can set to a regular alarm beep or the sound of a Ferrari engine. I'm still working on figuring it all out and haven't heard the engine sound yet. A cool gadget; made by a place called Ogden Scientific here in the US. BTW, Ratcliff, congrats on your new car!!
Congrats, lovely color, and the wheels work very well, indeed. Problem: Wife saw pics of your house. She wants me to sell our ~1mil 1600 SF shack in San Francisco and move to the Lone Star state
Sorry about the house pics problem, let me know when you get here, my neighbors house is for sale, you can never have to many Ferrari's in the neighborhood.
Stunning color combo and the Cargraphic wheels really set it off. I know you just picked it up, but please let me know if/when you ever decide to sell it. I'll fly down with cash in hand! So tell us a little about it...mileage, overall condition, service history, etc.? See that, I'm already tryin' to buy it from ya. ;-) Congrats on your new beauty.
Here's the details, some of it may be boring but here it is anyway. Car was delivered new through Lake Forest in Chicago, its a late 98 car. The 2 previous owners lived in Indianapolis. It appears to be a fair weather car only. Still has the Ferrari car cover, seat covers and steering wheel cover plus the tool kit and the factory can of fix a flat. No paint work except the bumper. To give you an idea of how it was cared for, the plastic covers that protect the carpet in shipping from Italy that are supposed to be removed from the dealer before delivery is still on the carpet. All service is up to date including belts, Lake forest went through the entire motor a few thousand miles ago, it has 23k now. The aftermarket wheels are HRE 19". Everything on the car works, even the top. The car is surprisingly fast and sounds great. I need to do a little more research on the exhaust. It sounds better than the other factory 355's I drove but the muffler has a Ferrari tag on it and the exhaust manifolds(replaced by lake forest) have a Ferrari Ansa tag???
Here is what you get for ~1mil around Texas... http://www.ebby.com/details/10183658.html Image Unavailable, Please Login
Can't say I know them. Lots of folks down here I have never met. Hope to attend some of the driving events. I will keep an eye out and try to plan accordingly! Congrats on the car. Looks awesome!
what size are the tires? I know the HRE's are 19 inch. what about width of the rims? I love that side shot.
