This article basicly says the case is closed. Of the 13 cars confiscated, 6 of which in Visioli possession, just 2 turned out to be false, a Testarossa and a Le Mans. Don't ask me how the case got closed with no consequences for anyone.(this is what the article means at least) It must be one of the many Italian magic court tricks.
Cases being closed are different than cases being cleared. Typically if there are no further leads, the case is closed but not cleared. It can be reopened. A case cleared means charges have been filed and it can basically go no further.
I know you sold your magazine collection but wasn't there a Brazilian artist in Road & Track years ago who had drawn all the characters in Formula 1 as birds in his pictures? No doubt Pebble Beach would provide lots of 'fodder' if that artist wanted to take his work in a slightly different direction now... CH
