    Given the nature of this thread I deemed the Technical Q/A forum the most appropriate place for it.

    I happened to be traveling on the West Coast in the San Francisco bay area, and I had a few extra minutes so I decided to drop by Rifledriver's shop in San Ramon, CA unannounced. He's got a great shop and of course he is a wealth of knowledge, and I enjoyed chatting with him after about 10 years of interacting with him on this forum occasionally and observing his commentary regularly.

    Thanks Brian for spending a few minutes and more importantly for all your contributions here all these years.

    I'm currently on a plane back to the reality of frigid weather - the NY variety!

    He has forgotten more information about this stuff then I or I'm sure even the Ferrari factory in many practical instances will ever know.

    Rifledriver told me that the Testarossa I was looking at was a parts car.

    I have never gotten over that.

    However, it admittedly WAS a parts car.
