Is there a "standard metallic red " that is available or are they all special order. At the park avenue showroom they had a sample of Metallic Rubino (on a small sheet of metal), but had no idea of cost. At ferrari of greenwich they said a 430 was just delivered with what he thought was Rossa monza (candy apple), that was a $30,000 premium. I've also seen ads on dupont registry where they say Rossa Monza was a 13,000 premium. Question..what is the actual name for the "candy apple red'..and what is the actual price?

    1) Be aware that color chart viewed on the web are notoriously inaccurate. Need real samples in hand to verify.

    2) Carsdirect.com colors are incomplete.

    3) last url incomplete & off color, too.

With all of the reds available as standard colors, there might be one that fits your needs, at no additional charge.

Rosso Fiorano, Rubino, & Monza are all metallic reds. The way I understand it is that Rosso Monza is their newest version, and having seen it in person on 599, I can tell you it looks great. Not sure if Monza is a standard color now or not, but if you order an "out of range color", it will cost extra. All the window stickers I have seen for an out of range color state about 10k. Perhaps this number is different for different models, but that is what has been for the V12's for a few years now.

I just threw up some links after I googled Ferrari Color Charts and those were some that I thought would've been helpful.
