Can I put 16 in wheels on the rear of my Testarossa with the metric wheels on the fronts? That way I can use modern BFG tires on the rear and keep the TRX GT's on the front. The TRX rears are getting hard to find.

    Thanks!

    Mechanically, yes:

Realistically, you want the same kind of rubber on both ends of the car so as not to introduce too much understeer nor oversteer.

It'll look awful. The wheels won't match. Swap all 4

Mixing rubber front and rear makes some of these cars evil handling. I wouldn't do it. Besides there is no good reason on Gods green Earth to put those lousy and expensive TRX's on either end.

Don't do it. It will make the car very unpredictable. A modern tyre will have a lot more grip than a TRX, and that can make fore some "interesting" situations.

Also, as said, it will look terrible. Especially because the front rims are slightly larger in diameter than the 16" wheels. If it had metric in the rear, this would be less noticeable as larger rims in the rear can flow with the wedge shape of the car.
