    Howdy Folks,

Can anyone recommend a good body shop in the metro area? We have a 1982 911 that needs some body work along with a repaint. From what I've seen, prices can vary widely (even excluding the Maaco junk). Looking for a decent job, but the car will be a driver, definately not a show car. We've spent a fair amount of $$ getting the mechanicals and electricals sorted out, new tires, brakes etc. Interior is a bit worn and will stay as is, but the paint is very poor at this point. Just looking to make the old girl shine a bit...nothing over the top by any means. We'll be using the original color, so we won't be respraying the underside of the hood/trunk, door jams etc.

    Thanks

I've had a Ferrari and a Porsche painted at Ken's Autobody in Aurora (Exposition and Havana). They are the best, you will not go wrong there.

I've had pretty good luck with Geoff Glenn down off Santa Fe. His metal work is absolutely first class, painting is good, decent prices. I think his company is called Three-G body and paint.

3G Body...my significant other had her BMW painted there, too. They did a great job and on a silver car! They were very quick and delivered the car back to us while we were on vacation. Very reasonable prices.
