Hey Guys - I'm gonna be in Falmouth visiting Family this weekend, and Ive decided to sneak up to Boston to see RL's collection on Friday morning.

Anybody's schedules open? I only have a small window to fit this in, so I figure I'll hit the museum late morning, then head over to Quincy Mkt for lunch.

I'll be by myself, so I'd welcome some company! Wanna join me?

    regards!
    Greg

Make sure you get your tickets before you head over there. The exhibit is pretty well sold out on the weekends. When purchasing you will need to know what time you will be there as the tickets are for a specific time window.

FoNE is about 20 minutes by Mass Pike from MFA downtown Boston. Very close to the West Newton (Rt 16) exit, at 1203 Washington St. Forget exit number, but it is the second exit after the Cambridge tolls.

    Have fun!

Any other cool auto-related places to visit within the immediate Boston area? Any nearby independent highline/exotics showrooms?

Couple years back, I visited the Factory Five Racing plant in Wareham which was very cool.

Looking for more things of ths nature.

Here are my pix from last weekend. I got lucky and found they were holding an open hoods event when I walked in. A gorgeous display of gorgeous cars!

I also visited the Larz Anderson Auto Museum in Brookline and Exoticar model shop in Avon on my way home. The Anderson Museum was very cool as well. They currently have a French Motorcar exhibit.... everything ranging from the Brass Era to a late 70's Renault Alpine on display. As its only 10 mins from the city, I highly recommend it. Unforunately I used all of my camera's memory @ MFA, so I have no pix from Larz Anderson.

Glad you had a good time, but that will teach you to bring your laptop with you when you go on these adventures so that you can upload your photos when your memory card gets full!
