Hey all, Don't know if anyone's covered this already, but last Wednesday's NY Times Business section had a large article covering the return of the MG brand to our shores! They're building a new plant in Ardmore, OK which will also serve as headquarters for US operations. MG is now a Chinese-owned entity and they are planning on building the coupe here in the US, the sedans in China and the roadster will still be built at the Longbridge, England factory as previous. I've driven a few "modern" MGs over in England and was very impressed with them and always wondered why they've taken so long to come back to the US. Being a vintage MG owner, I'm glad I'll finally have the opportunity to add a new one to my stable! The roadster is going to be priced against the Mazda Miata, which makes it about 10 grand cheaper than it sold for in the UK. Wonder if we'll get the X-Power? Cheers, Aaron '82 GTSi
