According to The Dino Register MHX 435L was stolen in 1993. It seems to have turned up at a dealer 15 years later. No idea if it was recovered and is legitimately offered, but on the off chance that it's former owner passes through thought I'd mention it. jg http://www.dinoregister.com/search.php?detailsearch=05610-3 http://atsearch.autotrader.co.uk/www/cars_popup.jsp?did=10009&pageid=2&originalid=&gid=nogroup&tid=20&start=1&distance=0&adcategory=cars&channel=DEALERPAGE&id=200827313455640

The original bill of sale from Maranello and confirmation build letter can also be found within the history file. " Caveat emptor
I have heard stories of a UK GTS that went for a Ferrari Classiche (or however you spell it) certificate that came back unauthenticated because the factory found that it was actually originally a GT. No idea if it was this one. I guess the history file will answer all these questions.
Ferrari Classiche four times confirmed the wrong original colour of my 206 GT. Then finally the boss was involved and suddenly they confirmed the right colour ;-) so you never know......
I can imagine.....just look at all the Scuderias that are coming over from the factory with the wrong color wheels or stripe that don't match what's on the window sticker....imagine trying to verify that correctly 40 years later.....
I can confirm, from original Maranello Sales records, that this chassis number was originally a GTS. Mark Shannon
