My buddy is working the show. He says its not that busy as in past years.
He also added that there is plenty of talent there...;)

My least favorite of the shows. Always crowded and difficult to get from venue to venue.

Been looking at the map apps on their site, looks like there is no parking within walking distance to One Harold Plaza where the boats are I would be interesting in seeing.

Yep just saw this come in to the St Petersburg downtown marina, said to belong to someone affiliated with the St Pete GP coming up. I'm sure we will see a few more.

You can land that KA right over there and we'll come pick you up! Stop in HHI, pick up Dave, fly back after the race.

We did the Miami Concours over in the design district, then came over for two hours to the Harold Center where the biggest boats where. Got lucky as it had rained, and thinned the crowd. Was cool to see all the boats blow their horns as the show hit five. Had not been in that area in a while, man is that a dirty nasty town lol, at least from the "Design to Harold". Not to mention that latino macho look on everyones face lol.

yeah it is that a nasty town(city) ... that sounded cool . They also have the super yacht center for the boats that are even bigger than the harold center.... My favorite Florida boat show is by far the Palm beach boat show... done very well and a nice clean area....

Yes on to The Ben and their rooftop bar! We just stayed there over the weekend, and of all things someone forgot to get us reservations so on to airb&b...so we got a room at the historic Palm Beach Condo hotel. Can you say Barton Fink....but I did discover this wonderful little cafe Patrick Lé://www.facebook.com/patricklezepalmbeach/ and the old standby Green's Pharmacy Luncheonette Store for breakfast https://www.greenspb.com. I liked the French hotdog as well as anything else I had at the higher end resturants, but maybe that says more about me that I should offer.

We went on the Wednesday, which was a $20 ticket more ie $60. Not too crowded then.
The park app sucked, we looked on park whiz and got a spot near the center for $25 whereas the show park app couldn't find anywhere near and nowhere for less than $65.

Had that same issue, and not knowing Miami, and looking on google earth, sure didn't want to end up in some ****ty area and have to uber or walk to the show. So I looked for the closet resturant near the show and booked it. And they validated my parking ticket, did the show, then had a neat dinning experience watching the boats depart from the outside deck. Food was ok...file that for next year.

Just saw this, it was really good, but not a lot that we were interested in. That said this is always the best show for manageable crowds and overall quality of life. Good dinning, more relaxes etc.
