Miami Concours 2024

Does anyone here possibly know the dates? I have been looking around for a while and can't find anything on the 2024 dates.

 

Replaced by MODA Miami... its last weekend of Feb into March.

 

Any more info/specifics?

I checked out their website but it's kind of vague. Who's behind it? is it judged? What are the classes? Vendor opps? I found a PR piece contrasting it as competition to Amelia but I'm not sop sure that's accurate. Maybe it's just too early for detailed info?

received an invite today, I have no knowledge of these folks.

 

Nice to have so many options. It always amazes me how many events there are in south Florida. I imagine it's tough to stand out given the barrage of high caliber events from Cavallino to Amelia. Lol, it's almost as if modern supercars are a dime a dozen now they are so ubiquitous on our roads.

Thank you. Are you sure it's been completely replaced?

 

I can't say with 100% certainty that it is being replaced but I have heard from sources that are helping to run the MODA event it is acting as a replacement. Also, the lack of any updates from the Miami Concours page leads me to believe that it is not going to be happening this year. May just be a one year break, may be done altogether. Not sure on that, but definitely not happening this year.

Only a months notice, odd. Wonder if it will be any good?

 

Sunday is always amazing - like last year there was 14 Pagani Huayras, Multiple new Lamborghini Countach, Bugatti Divo, McLaren Speedtail and The concept S /1 made by Lambo

 

So if I understand correctly now there are three events in the month of February alone? Whoops, four if we count Amelia Island too.

Motorcar Calvacade, Design District, Amelia and Moda?

I saw that. Tough competition to go up against Amelia.

 

Allegedly their goal is to directly compete with Amelia as RM Sotheby's use to work with Amelia but now wants it's own thing

Gotcha. The big hurdle is going to be the venue. Completely different vibe between Coral Gables and Amelia. Not to mention the nightmarish traffic and logistics of getting around there, cost, security, etc. Last time I was in Coral Gables it took us 45 minutes to go three miles! MIA is arguably one of the worst airports in the US.

Will be interesting.
