Never been to the Miami F1, I’ll be going in 2025…..interesting to hear about the best options, packages, etc for the race weekend from those who have experienced it.

I see packages from FCA, from the F1 website, and some other websites but not sure what the best ( for the money) packages are.

along with the OP, what have the trends been options and viewing? for those who have been to races like COTA and Montreal, how does Miami compare? the first couple years to me just seemed way overblown and non racing fans jacking up prices, curious how it trends for Las Vegas too.

VIP Packages and Paddock passes are packed with people.....ALOT of them from what we have seen....so it's not as "exclusive" over there in Miami....fyi.

That was our experience COTA, 5-digit weekend, still shoulder to shoulder, 90% non-racing fans. I spent half my time explaining rules, but it was OK, made good conversation.

Interesting you say this as I would say Vegas was the exact opposite. Almost everyone who went to the event were not locals. Many were international travelers, some West Coasters. I met a young couple from North Carolina. You don't spend all this money and time to see an event you know nothing about.

yes you do, very few at COTA in the Paddock Club were locals. these are newly minted Drive to Survive fans. yes, they can be considered F1 fans now, but not the old school ones we have traditionally thought of. the new fans have the money and it is more about the scene and personalities than it is the actual racing.

You could be correct about that Netfix thing. Most of the people I met were Intl. A lot from Mexico to see Perez.

But I didn’t meet a single local from LV in 3 days.

We just came back from Monza, my experience is those in the Paddock club are two types - both not much of F-1 fans. :
    1. Corporate types who's company sponsor a team
    2. Someone who has lots of $$ and wanted to see F1 DTS style...
Very very few are real F1 fans... to the point where they know the history of the sport before DTS.

Best experience for Miami is to stay home and watch on TV then go to a nice dinner at your fav local restaurant and back home in your own bed.
