I'm heading down to FL for Cavallino and PBSCW in January and have arranged some private shoots of some Miami area owners. Any recommendations on photo shoot locations? I'll be shooting during the day, evening and night. Any modern glass or architecturally funky buildings to consider? Thanks guys.......

195 and 395 from the main land to Miami Beach seem to be popular spots, with nice views of downtown. There's also that grafitti wall that was on 2 Fast 2 Furious. I'm sure there are colors on that that would match ANY car.

Daytime: beach and ocean background, Crandon Park Key Biscayne, and alongside Rickenbacker Causeway. Avoid weekends.
Also try Bay harbor Islands Causeway (I-95 125 St. Exit East).
Another killer PIC spot is the loop behing Herminita de la Caridad Church, on Bayshore Drive, heading to Coconut Grove, next to Mercy Hospital.
Night: Ocean Drive, Miami Beach. Miami River with downtown background.
    Biltmore Hotel, Coral Gables.

I like the fountains near Granada / Venetian pool (at Granada and Desoto) and the Biltmore in the Gables. Some really cool stuff there. Also look at all the tree canopy streets with the really cool banyans. I used to live on Almeria as a kid and they are really interesting. In front of city hall is also good early in the AM.

The parking lot at Matheson Hammock Park esp. very early or very late- right on the bay.

The parking area at Virgina Key Beach (left turn off of Rickenbacker Causeway as you head toward Key Biscayne) Great ocean/beach view with palm trees

Watson Island (adjacent to downtown, off the 395 causeway) turn right as you head to the beach, the access road will lead you behind the Children's museum, along the west side of the island- gazillion dollar views of downtown and the seaport, also cool architectual views of the underside of the 395 intracoastal bridge, all lit up in the evening.

    Good luck!
