    I understand it happened in Great Britain and the guy made it out ok.

    I wonder how the other guy did. You can see the Miata driving over a formula car before it launches. I don't know how someone could do ok with an impact like that. He's lucky.

    VERY LUCKY! I would have thought he was a goner. The car flipped about six times. Does the Miata have automatic rollbars that pop up?

    I was wondering the same thing Vic, I couldn't tell if it had one. Even if it did, the impact on the tire barriers must have been he!!

    Miata have automatic roll bars? Not a chance.

    To do spec racing, though, you need a full cage. To be competetive, you strip those cars doen to nothing -- maybe 1500 to 1700 lbs and power the **** out of them.

    That guy got some serious air. I'd love to know what launched him and why it was in the way.
