Michael Andretti to takeover existing F1 team?? Reports . . .

Andretti mistakes budget limit for team price in terms of total value. This would not have been a long term arrangement. But a 'flip'. I believe with the low offer, they assumed this group who owns Sauber would want to sell, he buys / races for a year or 2 and assumed more value over time and sells.

There was no sense of this having long term viable scope. I did not sense a 'sustainment'(funding), was in place to keep operating. Rausing showed this was lacking and easily. Andretti should find a GP2 team and work up.

 

European culture was alien to Michael as a driver and I suspect still is today. His comfort zone is in the USA, he can thrive and prosper there.

 

How so?

 

Characterizing Andretti as not having the resources isn't necessarily accurate. It’s possible his partners just didn’t see the value at the asking price.

 

What resources does he have? Was his SPAC funded? It was to be $250 million USD, wasn't it?
