A sad day in the music bizz. Jacko WAS the 'king of pop', no doubt about it. And there was no doubt he was a really bizzare individual.

Cardiac arrest without some major underlying physical cause is lot more common than people think, my late father was the same age as MJ (50) and rather fit and strong, also he had no issues with cholesterol or had any excess vices. He went to bed on a Sunday night and a few hours later was literally jolted from his bed and onto the floor, despite my best efforts at CPR and the Paramedics who arrived soon after, there was nothing that really could be done to save him despite our best efforts. It was a total shock and out of the blue, as we never had warning or any major symptoms before that night. The Autopsy and doctors at that point could only report on what had happened to him 'Myocardial infarction' but couldn't find an obvious cause. ie artery blockages or plaques. So since then I have kept an ear out as to similar occurrences and there's quite a few out there, recently i heard about a fellow in his 30s without previous heart conditions who was a fitness instructor and part time marathon runner and he also collapsed dead from a sudden heart attack. Heart attacks arn't as glamorous as other diseases and don't make the media headlines so i guess a lot of you guys here in the age bracket of 40-60 would probably dismiss the risks but as you have seen with MJ you dont need to have the classical symptoms of obesity and high cholesterol to be at risk. Unlike prostate cancer where you may perhaps get a bit of warning or indication that somethings wrong, by the time you realise you may have a heart problem often its too late.... So IMO and my from experiences i seriously recommend to all you older gents that want to take your health seriously to get your ticker checked out by a specialist sometime soon. http://www.heartfoundation.org.au/Pages/default.aspx
not taking away from anyone else's death but wacko had more bog in him than a rusty fiat......no wonder the arteries were giving up the ghost
Wow, our merican brothers are full tilt over wacko. Its passing 14 pages already and only some are Pap's smilies.
Sorry to hear about your Dad, but that doesn't make sense. If he had no signs of it and the autopsy showed no cause, what's the point of"older gents" going to get the ticker checked out? I mean if there's a problem they find, great, but what you're saying is even if there's nothing wrong, it can happen....if you know what i mean, so why limit it to older people as per your findings of 30yo and why bother recommending it if it won't help people like your Dad?
Yep, the Silver Section is going Jacko CRAZY!! http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=248222
