The great one has called a press conference for 12:30pm at Monza on Wednesday. Maybe it was just me, but he looked a little solemn after the race. Is this the big retirement announcement????

    I agree he looked different.

Jean Todt was interviewed by Rosso and announced difficult times ahead.

    Put one plus one together?

He is as bored with F1 as I am, probably going to thank everyone, and hang up the helmet for the season.

"I have heard it said that I was about to announce my retirement," began a relaxed and smiling Schumacher. "I am sorry to let everybody down but I have competition in my blood; I live for it. This is the reason that I will continue as long as I have this instinct and I am competitive. I honestly never look back; I always concentrate on the next set of objectives. To realise those goals there are the winter months."

My dad and I couldn't make a race this year, and if he retires before next year I'm gonna cry... we were going to fly out to Monza and everything to meet him and the team...

I mean, it's still great to meet Todt, Barrichello, Brawn etc but you have to admit Michael is the main attraction.

You have been greatly disappointed Wolfang, Michael doesn't have any desire to call a quit. Be sure that he'll be in front of the pack next season too.
