Smelly white boy? Siding with Barack? Secret whistle blower? Santa was black? Send whisky bottles? Sensei wasabi buffet? Sackey writers better? Sfumato wears bikinis? What kind of arcane code are you trying to send to me? Ooooh, do you want a SWB?
In a empire far, far away, a passo corto lived.... BTW, you've had 2 spelling and 3 grammatical errors in this thread thus far.
If I don't make mistakes, how is the rest of the world supposed to feel better about themselves? So tell me about this Passo Corto...
I've talked to Mike on occasions at Crystal Cove, nice and knowledgeable guy. About the only issue I had with him (which wasn't an issue frankly) is he didn't really deal in the 'low end' cars. I was looking for a Mondial t with a specific color combo, so contacted him to see if he had a database he could tap, but alas not in the low end common folk cars. It's ok, he did refer me to someone else and was helpful as opposed to just blow me off. I've never heard a negative word spoken about him.
I sold a quarter-of-a-million dollar car through Mike, and it was a very easy deal. He performed exactly as promised, came and picked the car up for the PPI on behalf of the buyer, negotiated a fair deal all around, and even shaved his commission a small amount in the final negotiations to make sure a deal could get done. From start to finish, I think the elapsed time was about 2 weeks. No-nonsense, straight talker, and a good guy to buy OR sell through. Michael
I talked to Mike many years ago when looking for my 308. He was nice but as said previously, that was not what he dealt with. I really like the website myself. Its fun looking at the histories of each car. The photos are always pretty good. I had the blue '78 Boxer as my computer background for a long time! Congrats on the new job Carbon.
I absolutely love this Daytona Spyder they have for sale-->http://www.ferraris-online.com/pages/carintro.php?reqcardir=FE-365GTS4-14471 So pretty.
Did you know . . . according to Peter Windsor, Charlotte produces some of the best and strongest Carbon Fibre in the automotive world?
This question will never die and mis-information exists. I've been around the local L.A. Ferrari scene 30 years too. I don't remember all the details since it has been years. IIRC EAR was a high point and a low point at the same time. Toward the end of the go-go 80's ferrari collector market when even lowly steel 308's were cresting $100K the market abruptly fell apart. Couple that with a nasty frivolous lawsuit by a vindictive heavy hitter EAR went away. I actually read some of the legal documents of the outcome of the mess and Mike Sheehan came out completely vindicated and even got written apologies for misdeeds done to him under the guise of the law. While Mr. Sheehan's reputation was restored, huge damage was caused and money was spent to protect that reputation. It just goes to show you that if you are "high profile" you better have both hands on your wallet. It is good to here that his business seems to be functioning well and that so many Fchater's have good things to say about him.
Has not lasted, had very bad legal problems when conflict http://cases.justia.com/us-court-of-appeals/F3/253/507/576155/
The siren song of the V12 is calling me to dump the Mondi t cab.... Congrats (belated) on the new gig Carbon!
