Hi all, I was just wondering, comparing these 4 guys, have Michael and Fred clocked more laps and mileage during these pre season tests compared to their teammates?

I've read a lot about MS, and that Nico had a good run in wet conditions on the last day at Barcelona, but that's all i heard about Nico. Fred meanwhile have been driving driving and driving. Just once i read Massa was fastest. Is it true that MS have more mileage over Nico, and so does Fred?

    Thanks!

1 week to go! Can't wait!

I read that Nico was about to break MS' lap record set at Barcelona on Friday but was stopped by a broken rear wing.

As for the pecking order I still see Alonso ahead of Massa and Rosberg ahead of MS. And Ferrari ahead of Benz.

I think he was asking who did more laps in testing.....

I'm pretty sure Alonso did the most, good question though

Interesting results; here is what I found

    http://speedmagazine.net/2011/03/13/formula-1-pirelli-ends-its-test-campaign-for-the-2011-f1-season/

Now that official testing is over, Ferrari leads the pre-season distance rankings with 5244 kilometres covered over the course of the 15 days, followed by Mercedes (4483), Red Bull (4407), Sauber (4099), Williams (3894), McLaren (3844), Force India (3745), Toro Rosso (3737), Lotus Renault (3700), Virgin (3361) Lotus (2403) and HRT (1949).

As for the drivers, Fernando Alonso has driven the most distance on Pirelli tyres with a total of 2826 kilometres, ahead of Michael Schumacher (2474), Felipe Massa (2417), Mark Webber (2373), Rubens Barrichello (2198) and Sergio Perez (2129).

The drivers who have completed the least distance are Vitantonio Liuzzi with 326 kilometres, Jarno Trulli (1028), Nick Heidfeld (1140) and Heikki Kovalainen (1182).

Nico had a quicker S1 by a tenth is what I heard while all his previous qualy laps were always slower in S2 but same in S3. Michael had some other-worldly racing line in S2 no one could find. Of the 4-5 or so qualy laps he did I highly doubt he could have found a full half a second he needed to beat Michael's time. Not just speaking as a Schu fan but just being realistic. Half a second is a ton.

He means the time Michael set earlier in the day. Nico was running qualy runs up until a few minutes before the end of the testing session. IF his rear wing was broken I would give him .3-.4 of a second as that's about what they are worth but I don't think that was the case.

Yeap. I think MS did more compared to Nico, and Alonso did more than Massa. I stand corrected though.
